Pharmacy Technician

Program Mission: To prepare the graduate with the knowledge, skills and abilities essential for performing the duties that are required in a pharmacy environment with professional status and responsibility.

The Pharmacy Technician program at Southern Careers Institute will teach students pharmacy operations and procedures, computer applications, job readiness techniques, personal development skills, and basic pharmacology skills,so that they are able to perform the duties of a Pharmacy Technician. Graduates may find employment in retail pharmacies, hospital pharmacies, drug-related companies and other pharmacy environments.
